WELCOME TO BULLY RASCALZ AMERICAN BULLDOGS

Hi my name is Julie Labranche and my partner is Christy Lalonde. I first fell in love with this wonderful breed 11 years ago and have since wanted to do my part in contributing to the development of the American Bulldog. I have researched and learned many things threw out the years and have found that there is so much more to learn! I do not consider myself an expert but more of an extreme hobbyist with a passion beyond belief! Our goal is to produce "bully" American Bulldogs that are healthy, conformationally correct, stable and most of all: a cherished member of the family.

Our breeding program is based on quality and not quantity! We are involved in showing, weight pulling, and other activities our bullies enjoy doing. This breed is a working breed and requires an outlet for they're boundless amount of energy and love of playing! They are also an intelligent breed so training is a must or they will rule the house! We do basic obedience with all our dogs and recommend everyone take AT LEAST one obedience class with their new puppy. This breed can be dominant and stubborn and therefore I would not recommend them for everybody.The American Bulldog is a loyal dog and is naturally protective. He is also comical and loves to play. They are a very strong dog and require strong leadership. They can be suspicious of strangers by nature but are very friendly under normal circumstances, it is vital for this breed to be very well socialized from a young age. The American Bulldog can be dog aggressive especially if not introduced to other dogs when they are puppies but with strong leadership from your part it should be under control.I have had experience with many breeds and the American Bulldog is by far my favorite breed. I admire their loyalty, I love the look of them, I love their strength, athleticism, their willpower is unlike anything else, they are lots of fun and are great cuddlers!
